ATA Celebrates Success at the Best Leg International Open

ATA Taekwondo Club enjoyed a fantastic weekend at the Best Leg International Open at Crystal Palace, London, securing 15 medals and finishing 7th overall among more than 30 clubs.

The competition was a great reflection of the hard work, discipline and dedication of our athletes, alongside the strong community spirit that makes ATA special.

From the smooth Saturday weigh-ins to the final matches, our athletes supported and encouraged one another throughout the weekend. A special thank you goes to our welfare and safeguarding officers, Nicola Taylor, supported by Lewis Taylor, for their dedication. 

We also thank all our parents for creating such a positive and supportive team environment.

Congratulations to everyone who competed. Special recognition goes to our first-time competitors Selina, Jessica, Mikel and Oscar, who showed fantastic composure and skill under pressure.

A Fantastic Team Achievement

Our final medal tally of 4 Gold, 6 Silver and 5 Bronze earned ATA 7th place overall— an outstanding result.

Thank you to our athletes, coaches, parents and senior players for their commitment and support. This weekend demonstrated that ATA is about more than medals — it is about teamwork, discipline and lifting each other up.
